The Brace consists of two main parts - a six-inch wide elastic shoulder strap attached to a ten-inch wide elastic chest band. The chest band fastens with velcro at the center to the chest. The shoulder strap contains a foam padding for localized compression on the shoulder joint and fastens with velcro at the center back. This rear attachment creates a downward pull and backward pressure on the shoulder which reduces subluxation of the A.C. joint. An arm sling secured to the forward chest band helps to immobilize the arm.
