Test results show the Mueller ATF™ Ankle Brace does not hamper jumping, speed and agility.

Many braces effectively reduce excessive inversion and eversion, but hamper athletic performance such as running speed and jumping ability.  Ten male athletes who participate in multiple sports (football, basketball and track) were tested.  Test entailed a vertical jump, pro-agility (25 yd. shuttle) and 20 yd. sprint, both braces and non-braced.  No significant differences were found between the subjects' tests, whether braces or non-braces, i.e. the ATF™ allows unrestricted foot movement.
